Welcome to your Farm Life Toolkit. Think of this as your pocket-guide of tools and strategies that can help you to navigate the daily challenges of farming life.

I've brought together my knowledge as a psychologist (what works to improve and care for our mental health), with my lived experiences of the reality of farming life (like how the heck do I look after my own wellbeing within the juggle of the farm, the family, and life in general??) - to bring you paddock-tested, helpful, and most importantly, do-able strategies and practices to care for your mental health even during tough times.

Change doesn't happen when we try to change everything at once. So, don't binge watch everything in here and do nothing. Instead, gradually work your way through one exercise at a time and then really put it into practice. 

Set yourself a challenge to practice each exercise once a day or once a week for the next month and see what happens.

Treat the exercises as an experiment. You are just experimenting to see what works for you.

Take one step at a time, and remember, it’s 100% OKAY to make time to look after yourself, even during busy times.
